About the event

Dyslexia is not a reflection of intelligence—it is a difference in how the brain processes language. Yet many students remain misunderstood, labeled careless or inattentive when they are navigating genuine decoding challenges.

This workshop clarifies:

  • What dyslexia is—and what it is not

  • Early indicators across developmental stages

  • The difference between reading delay and structured language difficulty

Participants will explore multisensory instruction principles, explicit phonological awareness strategies, and accommodations that protect student confidence while promoting growth.
